PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

STEP Workshop

STEP is an ASID program created for interior designers who plan to take the NCIDQ exam. Offered to ASID members and non members alike, STEP is a 2-1/2 day workshop given by professional instructors who guide participants in how to take the exam, what to expect , and how to study. The workshop is held by individual chapters (though the content is uniform for all workshops); the information below describes the Washington Metro Chapter's program.

Registration procedures have changed! Online (only) registration for all STEP workshops is managed by ASID headquarters staff, not by individual chapters. To view a listing of currently scheduled workshops and to register for a specific workshop, visit www.asid.org, click on "I am a Designer," and click on "NCIDQ Preparation – STEP."
