ABOUT OUR CHAPTER
The Washington Metro Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) was created when the Society was established in 1975. The chapter encompasses Washington, DC, northern Virginia and suburban Maryland. Our chapter has 1099 members, including 331 professionals, 291 allied members, 208 industry partners and 269 students. ASID inspires and enriches its members and the interior design profession by providing indispensable knowledge, experiences and relationships.
GOAL 1 Develop ASID programs, services and information that are fundamental in the design marketplace.
GOAL 2 Promote and deliver high-value knowledge, business tools and connectivity to all members in order to optimize the ASID experience.
GOAL 3 Grow and celebrate ASID membership to more fully engage the diverse constituencies represented by the design community.
