ABOUT OUR CHAPTER
The Washington Metropolitan Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) was created when the Society was established in 1975. The chapter encompasses Washington, DC, northern Virginia and suburban Maryland. Currently we have 832 members total, 307 allied members, 336 professional, 189 industry and five chapters. ASID inspires and enriches its members and the interior design profession by providing indispensable knowledge, experiences and relationships.
GOAL 1 Develop ASID programs, services and information that are fundamental in the design marketplace.
GOAL 2 Promote and deliver high-value knowledge, business tools and connectivity to all members in order to optimize the ASID experience.
GOAL 3 Grow ASID membership to more fully engage the diverse constituencies represented by the design community.
