Experience

Store Manager - Thomasville Retail - VA-Vienna


Job Summary
Provide the leadership necessary to achieve projected sales goals while ensuring complete customer satisfaction at all times.  Conduct yourself as a coach who observes and facilitates necessary change to achieve company goals.  Partner with each project manager and ensure that design consultants are working within a system where the team can consistently meet its goals.  Provide direction and guidance to all employees that will maximize their full potential.

Essential Functions of Job

Oversee Design Consultants, Visual Merchandiser, Soft Goods Specialist, and Office support personnel.

Achieve sales goals through the recruitment, development, training, coaching and management of the design consultants. Evaluates needs and strengths of your design consultant team members on a continuous basis.  Utilize training tools provided by the Company to ensure your team’s success.

Effectively manage customer contacts and relationships to improve customer service, build sales volume, improve designer effectiveness and increase overall customer satisfaction.

Establish individual sales goals and hold design consultants accountable for achieving foals.  Work as team with design consultant and customer.

Create and nurture a positive team environment and a high level of energy and ambition with employees to ensure sales growth.

Education and Qualifications

BA or BS degree in Interior Design or related field or comparable experience. 
Proven background in retail selling and interior design. 
Experience as design sales professional preferred. 
Broad knowledge of design and effective sales techniques. 
Supervisory experience required.

Interior Design -- Project Manager - Office in NW Washington DC


Permanent Full-Time Position

 

We are a high-end interior design firm in Washington DC that concentrates primarily on residential projects. We have a positive, collaborative and close-knit work environment.

 

We have an immediate need for a Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses the following skills and experience:

 

-At least three-five years of experience working at an interior design company preferred.

-Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Interior Design.

-Strong computer skills essential, including experience with Microsoft office.

-AutoCAD experience and skills imperative. Must be proficient in drafting.

-Sharp organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Ability to self-manage, multi task and handle numerous projects at once.

-Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Project Coordinator - Washington, DC


Purpose:

The Project Coordinator is accountable for supporting and maximizing the sales efforts within the Showroom. In managing each project to completion, this individual provides the excellent experience and service our clients have come to expect of the Waterworks brand. The project Coordinator builds collaborative internal and external relationships to drive client loyalty.

Key Accountabilities:

- Ensure that all sales quotes and orders are entered timely and accurately, inclusive of capture of associated parties and ensuring T&C compliance.
- Communicate clearly with internal and external clients to ensure the right product is getting to the right client at the right time.
- Provide all necessary order and product information to client including pricing, specifications, instillation guidelines, care and warranty.
- Assist in sales efforts on the showroom floor as needed.
- Partner with Sales Consultant, Client Services, and Product Support to resolve client issues in timely manner and to client's satisfaction.
- Stay current on product range and competitors' offerings to represent the brand and product accurately & confidently.
- Use reference materials in showroom and on Intranet to provide solutions and make recommendations to clients.
- Assist sales team in the development of client relationships to increase current business or to ass new accounts into the Waterworks book of business.
- Maintain all reference and selling materials to represent current lines and uphold orderliness in the sample room.
- Model the Waterworks values within the showroom.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

- 2+ years administrative experience, solid project management, organizational skills, and strong affinity for teamwork.
- Art/Interior Design education and/or experience.
- Previous inside sales experience with strong client service focus preferred.
- Experience with luxury products.
- Experience with JD Edwards a plus.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to provide solutions to client problems and to present a relevant point of view.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
